The Anthos Quartet at the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona

The Anthos Quartet celebrates its first ten years of activity at the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona with a concert having the special participation of violinist Alessandro Simoncini. The programme includes musics by Schumann and Šostakovič.

The desire of four friends to play together and the will to enhance the repertoire written for a rare and exceptional formation, like the quartet for piano, were the impulse for the creation of the Anthos Quartet in 2002. Today, the Quartet is preparing to celebrate its tenth year of activity with a concert at the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona. Agnese Tasso (violin), Jessica Orlandi (viola), Silvia Dal Paos (cello) and Francesco Spazian (piano) will be joined exceptionally by violinist Alessandro Simoncini to perform the Quintet Op.44 by Schumann and the Quintet Op.57 by Šostakovič.
