Music
The Teatro La Fenice is set to host a musical event of extraordinary depth during Holy Week. On Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 April 2025, M° Ton Koopman will take the podium to lead the Orchestra and Chorus of Teatro La Fenice in a performance of the monumental St Matthew Passion BWV 244 by Johann Sebastian Bach - one of the most moving works in the sacred music repertoire, enriched by an exceptional vocal cast.
A unique project that transforms migrant boats into musical instruments. At Antiruggine, on Saturday, April 5 at 9:00 PM, Mario Brunello will play the Cello of the Sea, crafted in the lutherie workshop of the Opera prison. Alongside him, Arnoldo Mosca Mondadori will share an extraordinary artistic and social experience.
