The new CD by the pianist Ivan Ilić 'The transcendentalist' is an exploration of meditative music. 'First listen' offers some excerpts choosing music by Alexander Scriabin and John Cage.

The week dedicated to Charles-Valentin Alkan starts with listening to the 'Grandes études pour les deux mains separees et réunies' Op.76, performed by pianist Alexander Deljavan.
