The Teatro La Fenice of Venice has presented the new 2025–2026 Season, which promises to be extremely rich: 11 opera titles, 4 ballets, over 60 symphonic and chamber concerts, and a series of special events that celebrate history, contemporaneity, and interpretative excellence. Worth noting is the great return of Riccardo Muti, who will conduct the Orchestra of La Fenice once again.
The Teatro La Fenice is set to host a musical event of extraordinary depth during Holy Week. On Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 April 2025, M° Ton Koopman will take the podium to lead the Orchestra and Chorus of Teatro La Fenice in a performance of the monumental St Matthew Passion BWV 244 by Johann Sebastian Bach - one of the most moving works in the sacred music repertoire, enriched by an exceptional vocal cast.

Nicola Colabianchi is the new superintendent of the Teatro La Fenice in Venice. Composer, artistic director and prominent figure in the Italian musical scene, he proposes a vision that combines tradition, young talents, 20th-century symphonic repertoire and an international openness.
