The Teatro La Fenice of Venice has presented the new 2025–2026 Season, which promises to be extremely rich: 11 opera titles, 4 ballets, over 60 symphonic and chamber concerts, and a series of special events that celebrate history, contemporaneity, and interpretative excellence. On Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 April 2025, M° Ton Koopman will take the podium to lead the Orchestra and Chorus of Teatro La Fenice in a performance of the monumental St Matthew Passion BWV 244 by Johann Sebastian Bach - one of the most moving works in the sacred music repertoire, enriched by an exceptional vocal cast.
