VCR receives many small or large donations. These are gestures that cannot be measured in numbers, but in the light they carry within them. Silent acts, born of a love for music, which find their deepest meaning especially during the Christmas season: to be shared. And once given, to continue sounding and generating beauty. Today we would like to share the story of a special donation.
Until December 5, the city of Trento hosts the 39th edition of Trento Musicantica, the international Festival dedicated to early music, promoted by the Centro Servizi Culturali Santa Chiara and the Laurence K.J. Feininger Centre of Excellence. A journey of concerts and meetings held in the city’s historic venues, this year titled Giubilar cantando.
Tutti all'opera: this is the title of the 21st edition of the Gioie Musicali Festival, the international youth festival that, until July 13, 2025, brings concerts, performances, masterclasses, and workshops to Asolo and other towns in the Veneto region. A showcase for young talents and acclaimed performers.
On Friday, April 18 at 9:00 PM, VCR Classica+ presents, as per tradition on Good Friday, Bach’s St John Passion BWV 245 in the celebrated version conducted by John Eliot Gardiner with the English Baroque Soloists and the Monteverdi Choir. Introduction by Gabriele Formenti.
